This Creamy Ranch Pasta salad is easy to make. A perfect recipe to feed a crowd and it is seriously good. Made of rotini pasta and loaded with fresh vegetables and creamy ranch dressing.
What I love about this Ranch Pasta Salad is that it does double duty as a side dish or a meal itself.
Great for picnic or summer barbeques, potluck, and weeknight meal.Â
If you run out of work lunch ideas, Pasta salad is perfect since it is a complete meal. Like pasta, veggies, and meat and the plus factor is? you can eat it right away. (no more lining up to use the office microwave) 🙂
The good thing about this salad is that you have many options. If there’s an ingredient you don’t have in your cupboard, you can omit it or swap it for a similar ingredient. Even with the dressing, you can use sour cream or Greek yogurt and Ranch packet Seasoning if you have them handy. (I always keep one.) Just combine them together. For the veggies, you can opt for whatever you have in your fridge.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS SALAD?
- Pasta – like Rotini, Bow tie, Fusilli
- Bell Peppers (any color)
- Cucumber
- Carrots
- Broccoli
- Red Onion
- Ranch Dressing
- Mayonnaise
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Bacon
The idea of having chopped veggies makes it easier for me, that way I’ll just cook the pasta then toss everything together and chill for a few hours. EASY right??!!! 🙂
HERE’S HOW TO MAKE THIS RECIPE:
- Cook your pasta according to the package directions.
- Chop your vegetables into bite-size.
- Toss all your ingredients and chill in the fridge.
How long will the salad last?
This salad will last for about 3 days in the fridge. Just make sure to store it in an air tight container.
I hope you enjoy this pasta salad like we do.
Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
