Making them from scratch is a game-changer. Do you want to know my secret?
My bread machine is my little secret, it does all the hard work for me. I love that I can dump all the ingredients into the machine and let it do all the mixing and kneading. While I can go on with my work and come back when kneading is completely done.
I have been using my bread machine nowadays in making these other yummy bread as well. Easy Homemade Dinner Roll Homemade Oat Bread & SOFT WHOLE WHEAT HONEY BREAD
Although, nothing has changed in the ingredients, just the process on what order you put in the ingredients to the machine.
The Bread Machine dough setting function is life-changing for me when it comes to making my bread. It makes my life easier especially when I am craving bread. Plus, the smell of baking bread at home is the BEST!!! It gives me comfort & warmth.
I have to confess though, I don’t let the bread machine do the baking. I tried it once, but I didn’t like the shape or form of the bread that came out when it was baked in the bread machine.Â
That’s the reason why I ONLY use it for kneading my dough. 😉
I let it do all the hard work for me, then I take over when kneading is done. The fun fact is, that I really enjoy the part where I shape and roll the dough as it also calms me down.
Therefore, say no more to buying buns at the grocery store and start making your own. Making bread does not have to be complicated, it should be therapeutic.
Just follow these simple steps on how to make Hawaiian Rolls using your Bread Machine.

- Once doubled in size, gently deflate the dough and divide into 20-22 equal parts
- Roll each portion into a smooth ball and place it in the prepared baking pan.
- Cover them loosely with a clean kitchen towel. Let them rise again until the size has doubled.

Recipe Tips in making these Homemade Hawaiian Rolls
- Pineapple Smoothie: What gives the rolls a sweet, tangy and tropical flavor. Also, the pineapple fiber makes it moist, softer and fluffier.Â
- Butter: Microwave the butter until its warmed and almost melted
- Eggs: Slightly beaten
- Milk: warm in the microwave (110 F – 120 F)Â
Can I freeze leftover Rolls?
YES. You can put it in a resealable plastic bag, take the air out and place it in the freezer for up to 3 months. When I make these, I would take half of the rolls and freeze them for later use.Â
When itsready to eat, I just leave it on the counter overnight and warm in the microwave for 10-15 seconds.
