Wash and trim the snow peas, slice the mushrooms, and mince the garlic.
Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of pepper in a small bowl.
Heat olive oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic to the hot oil and saute' until fragrant.
Add sliced mushrooms and stir-fry until tender and slightly browned. Incorporate snow peas, and stir-frying for an additional 2-3 minutes to maintain crispness.
Pour the stir-fry sauce over the vegetables and stir well.
OPTIONAL: Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
Adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, or soy sauce if needed.
Remove from heat, garnish with sesame seeds, and serve hot over rice or noodles.
