Ingredients

  • 2 cups Snow Peas - trimmed and strings removed
  • 2 cups Fresh mushrooms - sliced
  • 3 Cloves garlic - minced
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch (for thickening the sauce)
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional for some heat)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Wash and trim the snow peas, slice the mushrooms, and mince the garlic.
  • Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of pepper in a small bowl.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic to the hot oil and saute' until fragrant.
  • Add sliced mushrooms and stir-fry until tender and slightly browned. Incorporate snow peas, and stir-frying for an additional 2-3 minutes to maintain crispness.
  • Pour the stir-fry sauce over the vegetables and stir well.
  • OPTIONAL: Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, or soy sauce if needed.
  • Remove from heat, garnish with sesame seeds, and serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes
