These bread machine pumpkin dinner rolls are so light, fluffy, and buttery. They are the perfect addition to your Thanksgiving feast.
This recipe is so easy to make. Very similar to my How to make Bread Machine Hawaiian Rolls, I just added nutmeg (or cinnamon, cloves, and pumpkin spice) and used PUMPKIN instead of Pineapple.
The smell of these pumpkin dinner rolls baking in the oven is heavenly. They smell like fall…I mean warm spices, and full of pumpkin flavor. And, as you all know nothing tastes better than bread made from scratch.Â
Also, the best part of making your bread is that you have the advantage to sample your bread once it’s out of the oven. YUM!!!
Here’s another BONUS in making this bread. Your bread machine will just do all the hard work for you. Isn’t that amazing?!! You can take over once the kneading is done.
What you’ll need to make these Pumpkin Dinner Rolls
- Oat Milk – Oat milk is what I keep on hand. However, any type of milk will work.
- Pumpkin puree – the main ingredient, it wouldn’t be pumpkin rolls without a pumpkin.
- Eggs – help the bread rise
- Butter – makes your bread more flavorful as well as soft. Make sure your butter is at room temperature
- Sugar – just to give a hint of sweetness
- Salt –Â you can’t make flavorful bread without salt.
- Nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves – either of these can be used. If you have pumpkin spice, much better.
- Flour –Â All-purpose flour or bread flour can be used in this recipe.
- Rapid rise yeast –Â instant yeast or active dry can be used, however, if using active dry, the rise times will be a little longer.
How to make these rolls
Prepare and measure all your ingredients, so that it will be easy to add everything to your bread machine.
NOTE: Please also refer to your manufacturer’s guide on what order you put ingredients in a Bread Machine. Otherwise, just follow the order on the above-listed.
- Add all the ingredients to the bread machine according to the manufacturer’s directions.
- In my case, I have to add all the liquid ingredients first then, all-purpose flour followed by yeast.
- Choose dough setting, and once it is done transfer your dough into an oiled bowl.
- Let it rise until doubled in size.
- Gently deflate and divide your dough into 24 equal portions, this size is perfect for me. But if you want you can also make your rolls bigger.
- Prepare your pan. Grease or use parchment paper and place your dough, at least one inch apart.
- Cover loosely, and let them rise again until the size has doubled.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, and bake for 20 minutes or until the tops are golden.
- Once done, brush it with melted butter. Serve warm.
This recipe comes together so fast, so it is nice to be prepared. 🙂 That’s why having this bread machine is life-changing for me when it comes to baking my bread.
I hope you guys are going to love these Pumpkin Dinner Rolls, because these rolls are very delicious, you can even pair them with almost anything.
From having it as a side dish to your Thanksgiving feast or enjoying your Pumpkin dinner rolls as a perfect pair for your soups and stews.Â
In addition to this, you’ll have a house smelling of sweet autumn spices and inviting pumpkiny dinner rolls.
Can I freeze leftover rolls?
YES. Since these are so good, I doubt there will be any leftovers. However, you can put your Pumpkin dinner rolls in a resealable plastic bag, then try to remove the air out, and place it in a freezer for up to 3 months.
When you are ready to eat, leave it on the counter overnight and warm it in the microwave for 10-15 seconds.
